BRING YOUR OWN DEVICE (BYOD)
-Mt. Everett students may bring their own personal computing devices to school.
- These devices are to be used in the same manner as district owned devices according to the guidelines detailed in the student handbook.
OFFICE ONLINE:
Student email runs on Office 365, which means every student has 1 TB of storage in the cloud and can access Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and more all online for free through any browser. Students may also download Microsoft Office on their personal laptop, tablet, or phone and authorize its use with their school email account. |
PRINTING:
AIRPRINT: For iOS users Airprint is available on several copiers in the building. When adding your printer to your laptop, it is best to select Airprint rather than Secure Airprint or the Copier Type. PRINT BY XEROX APP: This app allows your device to find printers on the BYOD network. It is the best option for Android users and is an additional option for Apple users. |
SECURITY & CARE
The Southern Berkshire Regional School District is not responsible for the theft, loss, or damage of personal devices. The “Bring-Your-Own-Device” initiative is offered to students as a matter of convenience. It is NOT a requirement for students to own or bring a personal device to school to complete their work. |
